Our Story & Mission
Our History
Baptist Bible College and Seminary is committed to training young men who are called to serve the Lord in Christian ministry. The institution was founded by the late Rev. Dr. K. C. Thomas with a burden for the evangelization of India. Established in 1969 with fifteen students and five faculty members, the seminary began in a rented facility and, by God’s grace, has grown to operate from its own campus along with several sister ministries. The seminary offers Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) and Master of Divinity (M.Div.) programs and stands firmly for the historic Christian faith. We affirm the verbal, plenary, infallible, and inerrant inspiration of the Holy Scriptures and maintain a pre-tribulational, pre-millennial, non-charismatic, and fundamental doctrinal position, emphasizing a literal interpretation of the Bible. Through academic instruction and practical ministry training, students are equipped to faithfully serve and defend biblical truth. Baptist Bible College and Seminary is not accredited or affiliated with any external agencies.

BBC&S stands to equip Christ-like leaders with theological education, Christian values with exposure to the multi-religious-cultural contexts to evangelize people groups with the love of Christ, to plant Biblical, native, and autonomous local churches, to reproduce spiritual & visionary disciples-laymen-leaders of Jesus Christ, to take part in the holistic transformation and development of the communities with social, spiritual, and charitable activities for raising godly and responsible generations for the glory of God..
